The distances in Geneva by public transport are quite short. Public transport runs all day and is safe.Visitors to Geneva who stay in a local accommodation establishment (hotel, hostel, etc.) are entitled to free unlimited public transport in Geneva (on buses, trams, trains and Mouettes Genovoises) for the duration of their stay, thanks to the Geneva Transport Card. This card, issued in the name of the booking holder, is usually emailed three days prior to arrival. It can accommodate multiple people on a single card, provided they are travelling together. Should you not receive the card before your arrival, we recommend contacting your hotel so that you can use it to reach your accommodation from the airport / train station.
